Where it began
Word 4 Word was first established by Jason Della in 2010. Jason originated in Queensland, Australia and in 2006 moved to Western Australia where he undertook and completed a degree in Journalism at Murdoch University. Excited by the prospect of a varied and broad writing career, he forwent the newspaper industry in favour of entrepreneurial business.
Prior to the Copywriting and Communications industry Jason helped lead the Murdoch University Guild as one of their executive Office Bearers, served coffee, slaved away at various cafes or bars across Perth and Brisbane, did similar while working his way across the U.K., and survived world-wide travel excursions. From all this, he believes it has been the exposure to various cultures and people that has educated him the most.
University as an adult learner was a real eye opener. Confident in his chosen course, Jason became active on social issues and event management with one of the strongest student guilds in the country, if elective membership is any indicator. The focus was always to encourage personal development not just education by offering financial relief and support programs.
Currently in Europe Jason continues to run Word 4 Word from his mobile work station; a faithful laptop, mobile broadband, ‘XC’ the black box and, of course, his mobile.
